Acousmatic Therapy is a six-module, audio-only program that asks you to set aside time once a week for listening, rest, and contemplation. This couse is an opportunity for you to:

  • Learn to be present in the moment (and not always rely on your devices to occupy your downtime)
  • Repair your fractured attention span—so that you can pick up a book at night and read steadily without your thoughts bouncing around
  • Have the tools you need to fall asleep more easily, no matter what the day held
  • Build a sustainable mindfulness practice that you can return to whenever you need to refill your cup
  • Experiment with adding sound therapy and binaural beats to your existing meditation practice

Sonic Sleeping Pill

Music and sound have a powerful role to play in our sleep cycles, from lulling us to sleep to tugging us back toward consciousness at the end of the night. They can even nourish and shape the dreams that we have.

Weekly Meditation Class

Attend our drop-in weekly online meditation class to explore sonic mindfulness by practicing the techniques of inner and outer listening. Each class has a talk around mindfulness of the continuum of silence and sound, a guided meditation, and open period of discussion. Meditation is in its most basic form is an invitation to listen.

As a musician and composer, I’ve always known that sound can be transformative. My work fuses music with concepts from Deep Listening, a discipline centered on active listening to sound in all its forms. It’s also informed by my years of study in Theravada Buddhism and meditation.

Whether through group workshops, one-on-one music therapy sessions, or recorded pieces, my aim is to help you connect with yourself and the world around you through listening.
